With the release of the new Stampin’ Up catalogue coming in June, I thought I’d do a Top 10 list of my favourite stamps, tools and paper. They’re in no particular order but these are the items I use most from what I have bought from their range. If you were to put me on the spot, though, I think the trimmer comes in at Number 1 Fave, with the stamp cleaner coming in at a close second. It was really hard to narrow it down to just ten items though. Just missing the list was the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and the blending brushes. I love them but I don’t use them as much as the other tools. All the items below are linked to my online SU store so you don’t have to go searching for them if you don’t already have them in your own kit.

If you’re a Stampin’ Up! fan (or demonstrator), what are your Top Ten favourites from the current catalogue? Leave a list in the comments and tell us why you love them.

Hydrangea Haven

This is a fairly recent purchase but can see myself using this a lot. The sentiments are lovely and in a gorgeous font. A stunning set of photopolymer stamps and dies. I especially love that the single bloom die lets you fluff out the petals. I am so glad I got this from the mini catalogue.

Beautiful Friendship

I have got so much use out of this set. It reminds me very much of canal boat art and works in almost any floral display, especially as a way to add texture to a background. The set also has some lovely sentiment stamps and I love the handwritten font.

Forever Fern

Because no floral display is complete without some greenery. I love the detail on these and that they work beautifully on their own for a more masculine project. These stamps are a go to set in almost every project I make and work for any season.

A4 Cardstock

It’s durable enough to use as a card blank or doubled as a box base without the need for chipboard (unless you want to make something more lasting than a gift box). I absolutely love this paper. It punches and die-cuts really well too. If you are using a digital cutter rather than a manual you will want to adjust your settings for at least 300gsm paper because it really is tough.

Brass foil paper

This foil paper is of brilliant quality. It picks up a pattern from an embossing folder really and will stand up to heat embossing without the coating melting. I will say that care in storage and handling is needed because it dents very easily. Best to store it vertically with nothing hard or heavy leaning against it.

Stampin' Up! ink pads

These are fabulous, and they are refillable so they’re environmentally friendly too. I love that you can squash ink into the lid and use it as a pallet for a watercolour effect. The colours are vibrant

Trimmer

Fantastic folding arm trimmer in metric and imperial, top, bottom, and central measuring guides, and a built-in scoring tool. Replacement blades also come in packs of four rather than 2 so replacing them doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ve tried other trimmers on the market and this is the first I  have ever been truly happy with.

Medium Daisy Punch

Great little punch for embellishing any floral project. There is also a larger size available but I get so much use out of this. It works with almost all my stamps.

Stampin' Scrub

Your stamps are an investment and need proper care. This tool is now a vital part of my craft kit. Designed for use with their Stampin’ Mist, it gets in all the little gaps and is especially good on their distinctive stamps. I would only use it to clean off dye-based ink as pigment ink will foul up the bristles. For pigment ink you want the washable shammy cloth.

Perennial Flower Punch

This flower punch works really well with the two daisy punches and is one of my most used tools for embellishing cards. Doubling up the shapes, creasing the petals and using a gem in the centre gives me a really nice easy paper embellishment.
